You can claim back 20% of the labour costs on your tax return.
For household-related services and household trade services, you get part of the costs back through your tax return (§ 35a EStG). Many people don’t know this, so we do the maths for you.
What qualifies?
Our invoice lists labour, the call-out journey and materials separately, so you can use it for your tax return straight away. You pay us directly by bank transfer, card or iDEAL. We deliberately don’t accept cash, because the tax office doesn’t recognise the tax relief for cash payments. All prices are final: under the small-business scheme (§ 19 UStG) we don’t charge VAT.

When we can’t give a fixed price: With overgrown gardens and unclear repairs, any figure would be a guess. In that case we come round free of charge and then give you a binding fixed price.
What we don’t do
We can do a lot, but not everything. Some jobs belong in the hands of a master craftsman’s business, others need scaffolding or a certificate of competence. Ask anyway, and we’ll gladly recommend someone.

At gehtfix, the owner does the work himself: Samed Sariyürek from Würselen. So you know in advance who is coming to you. He is punctual and insured, and once the job is done he sends before-and-after photos to your phone.
We don’t use a call centre or ever-changing subcontractors. If something isn’t right, we put it right. That’s the advantage when the name and the work go together.

The legal duty to clear and grit (Räum- und Streupflicht) remains with you as the property owner. But we’re happy to take the work off your hands: reliably, on a subscription and with every job documented.
Yes, regularly in South Limburg (Heerlen, Kerkrade, Vaals, Maastricht) and in East Belgium (Eupen, Kelmis). You can pay with iDEAL, and business customers get their invoice with a reverse-charge note.
You enter our invoice in your tax return as a household-related service or a household trade service (haushaltsnahe Dienstleistung or Handwerkerleistung, § 35a EStG). You then deduct 20% of the labour and travel costs directly from your tax bill. Our invoice is already itemised for this. This applies even though we don’t charge VAT under the small-business scheme. Then we put it right, no questions asked. We record every job with before-and-after photos so that both sides can see what was done.
