Hosting and content delivery
The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, on a server in Germany. It is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 München). This involves processing technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, date and time, the address accessed and the amount of data transferred. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (DSGVO), our legitimate interest in the secure and trouble-free operation of the website.
Photo assessment and contact enquiries
You can use the enquiry forms on the home page and on the service pages to send us an enquiry with photos. The following is processed: your contact details (email or phone), optionally your postcode, description, preferred day and time of day, the selected service and the uploaded photos. Your browser reduces the size of the photos before they are uploaded. This removes embedded metadata such as the location where a photo was taken, provided the browser can read the image format. The sole purpose is to assess your enquiry and to get back to you.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request) and, for the photos, additionally your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you expressly give when sending your enquiry. You can withdraw your consent at any time; the lawfulness of the processing carried out until then remains unaffected.
Your photos are stored in encrypted form and cannot be accessed via the internet. Only our business has access to them, and only after logging in. They are not passed on to third parties. Publication, for example as a before-and-after image, only takes place with your separate consent.
To carry out an order, we pass on the information required for this purpose, in particular your name, your contact details, the place of work and the description of the order, to the employees of our business who are entrusted with carrying it out. This information is passed on solely for this purpose. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
To prevent misuse, your IP address is stored in shortened form on submission (the last segment is removed). We store enquiries and photos for as long as we need them for your enquiry and any resulting order, and delete them afterwards insofar as no statutory retention obligations apply. On request, we will delete them immediately.
Contact by phone, email or WhatsApp
If you call us or write to us, we process your details in order to deal with your request. The WhatsApp buttons are simple links; only when you tap one does your device connect to WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. Processing by WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp’s own terms. If you would like to avoid this, please contact us by phone or email.
Cookies and consent
We set technically necessary cookies without asking: pll_language remembers the language of the website, and kc_consent stores the choice you made in the cookie banner for twelve months. On login to the admin area, WordPress sets further technically necessary cookies. The legal basis is § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a functioning website.
We do not load anything else until you give your consent in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until then remains unaffected.
Audience measurement with Google Analytics
If you consent to the “Statistics” category in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This shows us how the website is used, for example which pages are viewed and how visitors find their way to us. For this purpose, Google sets cookies (_ga and _ga_ with an identifier, stored for up to two years) and processes information about your device, your browser and your use of the site. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded.
The data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so an adequacy decision of the European Commission applies to this transfer. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG. More on how Google handles data: policies.google.com/privacy.
Postcode check in the service area section
If you enter your postcode on the home page under “Do we come to you?”, your browser sends only this postcode to our server. The server uses it to calculate the approximate distance and the call-out charge and sends the answer back. The location data needed for this is held on our own server; no external service is queried. We do not store the postcode in the process. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request).
